Congratulations and thank you Patrick.  You showed us how to put the Scout Law in action.  You demonstrated trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful and brave all in this one unselfish act of kindness.  

You are a Troop 34 hero!!

On November 23, 2005, Patrick Pfeifer, while hiking with his family and friends in the Grand Canyon, became aware of a severely injured hiker and her less-severely injured companion who were attempting to hike out of the canyon.  Due to their injuries, they were moving very slowly and it was clear from observation with binoculars that they would not make the Canyon Rim or even the next campground by dark.  ....read the rest of the story
