WHAT
TO TAKE ON A WEEKEND CAMPOUT

Scout Handbook

Uniform
a) Class A Uniform -
Shirt & Neckerchief (Need to wear to and from outing)
b) Class B Uniform - Troop T-shirt
3)
Clothing (pack considering that you might get wet and/or cold)

T-Shirts

Long Sleeve Shirts

Sweater/Sweatshirt/Fleece

Long Pants/Jeans

Socks (2 pairs/day in case they get wet)

Pack swimsuit on top of pack for Summer Camp.
16) A couple dollars of spending Money (not required for weekend trips but
often when we stop for gas the scouts will get themselves a snack)
17) During heavy rain, tents have been know to get wet inside. Bring
a large garbage sack in which you can store your sleeping bag and pack.

Summer Camp.
a) Pack from the list above and adjust as needed for the
number of days and how often you change your clothes.
b) Bring enough spending money for merit badges selected (some badges
require a fee for supplies), lunch on the way
home and any spending at the camp store for snacks.
c) Pack a lunch for the trip to Summer Camp
d) Rope or twine for a clothes line
